Kultúrpresszó opened on Várkerület, the ring street that loops around Sopron's old town, and is generally credited as the city's first specialty coffee shop. The space doubles as a small showcase for Hungarian clothing designers, so racks of independent fashion sit alongside the tables, and the shop regularly turns its floor over to mini concerts, book launches and even language classes in the evenings.

A La Marzocco machine pulls the shop's own espresso blend, roasted under the name Sopron from an Ethiopian and Brazilian mix, alongside a rotating single origin guest coffee and filter options run through Chemex or V60 on request. Breakfast runs all day, sandwiches and bagels included, with vegan and organic versions and a choice of lactose free or plant based milk, and the counter keeps Sopron beers, regional wines and spirits for anyone staying into the evening. The wheelchair accessible room has free wifi, works for laptops, welcomes kids and dogs, and keeps a few tables outside on the ring street.
