Urban Embassy runs as both a cafe and a specialty retail shop, curating coffees from roasters across Europe rather than settling on one house supplier, with an Ethiopia Bokasso among the standing single origin options. The Fridtjof Nansen room doubles as a showroom for brewing gear, Hario pour over kits, AeroPress, and siphon brewers, alongside the coffee itself.

A return and reuse program for packaging runs alongside the retail side, part of a broader effort to keep the shop's footprint small. Vegan milk options are available, dogs are welcome, and outdoor seating extends the small interior on warmer days.
