Foreword Coffee Temasek Shophouse

Foreword Coffee began in 2017 as a student run cafe at NUS and has grown into a social enterprise where people of different abilities work side by side behind the counter. Its Temasek Shophouse cafe at the tail end of Orchard Road first opened in 2019 and reopened in 2025, a friendly place to pause on a long stroll.

The coffee is sourced from Asian producers and roasted by Foreword's own team on a Stronghold roaster, with the vibrant, fruity Hello Neighbour blend and the smooth, chocolatey Hug in a Mug blend made for espresso drinks. The signature Timeless Yuan Yang pairs a double ristretto of Yunnan coffee with milk and an Earl Grey ice ball, and bags of beans are available online.
