Hispalis Café

Hispalis Café is a small, owner run corner on Calle Amor de Dios where the roaster sits in the shop and the atmosphere is warm with wood, plants and good music. Espresso and decaf are poured from single origins named by country, and the bean shelf runs from a floral Panama Geisha to a vibrant Kenyan SL28, a Colombian Typica, an Ethiopian and a sweet Brazilian Bourbon.
Filter coffee and breakfast plates are on hand for a slower start, and bags of beans go home from the same counter. The pace is friendly and the coffee talk generous, so first timers tend to leave knowing a little more about what is in the cup.
