Galería coffee

The Galeria Coffee shopfront in Seville with its red hand painted name and line drawing of a woman with a cup on a white wall, a glass door and blue benches outside

Galería is the specialty coffee address the Macarena neighborhood had been waiting for. Artist and photographer Chío Fernández came home to Seville after years in London and opened it as a coffee project with room to grow into a gallery, and it is easily the kind of cafe your grandmother would love.

Espresso and carefully brewed filter coffee come from Ineffable Coffee Roasters, with plant based milk, decaf and Solo Chai on the list and pastries from Pan y Più alongside. Tables outside near the Cruz Roja area make it an easy place to linger on a sunny morning, and the whole corner has the relaxed, welcoming feel of a street where everyone knows each other.
