Utility Coffee Roasters

Utility Coffee Roasters is a small independent roaster and cafe on Wonhyo ro in Yongsan, open since March 2025 in a ground floor unit at the right side of its building. Coffee is roasted in house on a Korean made Easyster drum roaster at a medium to high roast, with a rotating run of single origins alongside a house blend.

Jazz plays through the room, and the day ends early, with the doors closing at three in the afternoon. The shop opens at eight and rests on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Beans and drip bags are sold through the shop's own online store, so the coffee can also be taken home or sent on after a visit. Public parking is available at a lot belonging to the Yongsan electronics market nearby.
