Travertine

Travertine began as the Korean partner for Danish roaster La Cabra before moving to roast everything in house, and the flagship room built on that shift is bright and calm, finished in concrete and wood with plenty of natural light rather than the darker industrial look common around Hannam-dong. The company now runs a small handful of locations, with this one still generally known as the Hannam shop even though its street address technically sits in the neighboring Hangang-ro area near Hannam Station.

Beyond coffee, the shop runs a real food program rather than a token pastry case, with house made butter scones and cakes that rotate regularly, plus tea lattes for anyone skipping caffeine. The sourcing philosophy carried over from the La Cabra partnership emphasizes transparency, with origin information kept visible for the beans in rotation.
