Manufact Coffee Yeonhui

Manufact is one of the early specialty roasters of Yeonhui dong, and its main shop still sits where the company started, on the second floor of a plain building in a side lane. A white doorway under the Manufact Coffee Roasters sign opens onto a narrow concrete stairway, with a potted plant and an oversized red Manufact mug at the foot of the steps, and the climb is part of finding the place.

Upstairs is a compact cafe, and the streets around it have since grown into a cluster of roastery cafes. Manufact sells its own beans, cold brew and drip bags through its online shop. The main shop opens Monday to Saturday from half past eight in the morning to half past six in the evening, and it is closed on Sundays.
