H Coffee Roasters Seochon

H Coffee Roasters opened its Seongsu flagship in 2014 and added a second, quieter outpost in Seochon in 2023, fitting a roastery showroom into a restored hanok a few lanes off the Pirundae stone path below Inwangsan. The original roof beams and rafters stay exposed overhead, pale stone tile runs underfoot, and a glass fronted shelf along one wall holds bagged beans for anyone who wants to take the roast home.
The coffee itself is roasted at a dedicated production facility the company runs in Anseong, Gyeonggi province, where the team cups and extraction tests every batch before it goes out to the Seochon bar or to the dozens of partner cafes the roastery supplies nationwide. In the shop that discipline narrows to espresso based drinks with an oat milk option and a rotating seasonal filter coffee, served at a handful of marble topped tables tucked beneath the old timber frame.
