Café Namusairo

Namusairo opened near Seoul National University in 2002 and moved to its current renovated hanok near Gyeongbokgung in 2013, making it one of the oldest specialty coffee operations still running in Korea, with more than two decades behind the name. The building mixes traditional wood construction with plain white modern furniture and a hidden mezzanine loft, plus private rooms tucked off the main seating for a quieter cup.

The bean list reaches up to rare and expensive lots, including Panama Geisha, and the shop keeps a complimentary batch brew going for anyone waiting on a pour over or browsing the retail counter, which sells both green and roasted beans. There is outdoor seating, wifi and pet friendly seating, and the cafe stays open early to late every day of the week.
