Bunker Company Apgujeong

Bunker Company's Apgujeong location occupies a converted red brick house just off the Rodeo strip, with a single glowing BUNKER sign and a triptych of mountain photography marking the entrance from the street. Inside, the room runs on serious hardware, SLAYER espresso machines alongside a Kalita Wave and Delter Press brew bar, built for a team with an unusually competitive back line.

CEO Park Seung gyu won the Espresso category at the 2020 Korea Barista Awards and has represented SLAYER as a brand ambassador since, while the shop's training director is a certified Q Grader instructor who judges national and international barista championships. The coffee itself is roasted at the company's own HACCP certified plant in Hanam before it reaches either Seoul location, and the Apgujeong bar keeps the focus tightly on the drink rather than long stays, with seating better suited to a quick espresso than an afternoon of work.
