Anthracite Coffee Hapjeong

Anthracite Hapjeong is where the company began, an old shoe factory beside the former Dangin ri power plant that the team chose to keep and fill with coffee rather than remodel. The light inside is kept low, and the team treats the room as the place where its whole approach to coffee was worked out through experiment.

Anthracite roasts its own coffee and sells beans and blends through its online shop. The building has a small parking area of its own, with public lots a few minutes away on foot when it fills up. The cafe opens every day of the week at eight in the morning, with later closing on Friday and Saturday evenings than on the rest of the week.
