Zoka Coffee Greenlake

The brick corner building of Zoka Coffee in Tangletown with its lit windows and a blurred passer by on the sidewalk

Zoka's Greenlake coffeehouse in Tangletown is where the company began, opening its doors in January 1997 in a brick corner building with big windows. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, free wifi and a welcome for dogs have made it a fixture of the neighborhood, busy from the early morning on.

The company practices family direct trade, buying many of its single origin coffees straight from the farmers who grow them, and roasts in small batches on a 1963 German Probat iron roaster at its Bellingham roastery. The bar pours seasonal espresso drinks alongside the house favorites and hand brewed single origins, with freshly baked pastries on the side. The doors are open every day from six in the morning until six in the evening.
