QED Coffee West Seattle

QED's West Seattle shop sits in a corner of a blue clad building on 35th Avenue Southwest, with picnic tables on the sidewalk, tall windows and wicker egg chairs by the glass. It opened in 2023 with a full kitchen, giving the roaster a place to serve food as well as its small batch coffees.

QED roasts its own coffee in small batches, aiming for interesting and balanced cups that highlight the character of each origin, and its recent lineup includes cooperative lots from Mexico and Guatemala. The cafe opens at six on weekdays and at seven on weekends, closes at six, and the kitchen runs from eight in the morning to two in the afternoon every day, with online ordering for food.
