Herkimer's cafe at 4th and Blanchard sits in the base of a glass fronted building in Belltown, with the word COFFEE spelled out across the windows and plenty of natural light inside. It opened in 2020 and is built around the workday, a quick stop for people on foot between meetings or on their way to the office, with steady, fast service and a straightforward menu.

The coffee comes from Herkimer's Seattle roastery, in business since 2003, which buys green coffee directly from small farms using traditional, sustainable growing methods and roasts daily. The company's single origins are roasted to highlight origin, seasonality and distinct character, alongside balanced espresso and drip blends. The Belltown cafe keeps office hours, open Monday to Friday from seven thirty in the morning to two in the afternoon.
