Pato Rei

Pato Rei has run since 2018 on a playful, wandering brand voice that name checks walking, swimming and flying alongside roasting coffee, and has grown into two locations, this original Pinheiros room and a second unit in Cidade Moncoes styled after Japanese kissaten cafes inside a converted warehouse. Kalita and V60 pour overs anchor the filter side of the menu, alongside espresso drinks and, on occasion, a notably rare Panamanian geisha lot.

The Cidade Moncoes location was named the city's best coffee by the Veja Comer e Beber guide, and both rooms keep a dog friendly welcome that fits the shop's unhurried, sit and stay pace.
