Wrecking Ball Coffee Roasters

The bright interior of Wrecking Ball Coffee on Union Street with a long white counter, white stools and shelves of whole bean bags

Wrecking Ball's Union Street cafe in Cow Hollow is a full service coffee bar in a pale room with a long white counter, white bar stools and shelves of whole bean bags, with a wallpaper by Rifle Paper Company for Hygge and West. The company was founded in 2011 by Trish Rothgeb, a licensed Q Grader and Q Trainer with decades of experience as a roaster and green coffee buyer, who is credited with coining the term third wave coffee.

The menu covers espresso drinks, brewed coffee, matcha lattes and a selection of teas and herbal tisanes, and the shelves carry fresh roasted whole beans to take home, from the Pillow Fight espresso to single origin lots. The bar runs on La Marzocco, Acaia and Mahlkonig gear and opens at seven on weekdays and at eight on weekends, closing at four.
