Sightglass Coffee

Brothers Jerad and Justin Morrison founded Sightglass in 2009, starting with a small service cart and a leaky vintage two group espresso machine in a SoMa warehouse before building out this full roastery, headquarters and cafe on 7th Street. The production floor sits in plain view of the counter, and the shop runs a training lab alongside a sourcing program built on USDA organic and direct trade relationships.
The Morrison brothers have since stepped back from day to day leadership, with a former Starbucks executive now running the company as CEO, a change in ownership that doesn't touch the roastery's continued presence at the center of SoMa's coffee scene. Sightglass has grown to further San Francisco locations, including Divisadero and the Mission, this 7th Street address remaining the original roastery and flagship.
