Saint Frank Coffee Sunset

The bright room at Saint Frank Coffee on Irving Street with tall glass windows and timber double doors, wooden chairs and round tables on a pale oak floor, and a tiled counter with a curved ceiling feature

Saint Frank's Sunset cafe on Irving Street is a tall, warm room with cream plaster walls, oak tables and chairs, copper wall lamps and a curved tile counter, with an arched doorway at the back and large plants along one wall. It is the company's Inner Sunset outpost, a short walk from the park.

The company was named for the city and for Saint Francis, and it was founded in 2013 around the idea that coffee is a way to connect people. Its sourcing works only through long relationships with small scale producers, buying all that a farm grows or enough from a cooperative to build a seasonal program each year. The cafe is open from seven in the morning to six in the evening every day.
