Saint Frank Coffee

The retail wall of brewing gear and branded coffee bags at Saint Frank Coffee

Kevin Bohlin taught middle school before working the counter at Ritual Coffee, where he began accompanying the roastery's green bean supplier on sourcing trips to Honduras, Costa Rica and Guatemala. Those trips convinced him to found Saint Frank in 2013, building the business around direct relationships with named producers stretching from Honduras to Burundi.

The shop describes itself less as a technical showcase and more as a translator, built to carry a farmer's story into the cup rather than lead with roasting technique alone. A second, downtown Mission Street location has since closed, leaving this Polk Street room in Russian Hill as the current flagship.
