Pinhole Coffee

Pinhole Coffee has run on Cortland Avenue since 2014, a cafe in Bernal Heights that it calls the Neighborhood in the Sky. The walls carry a striped color wall and rotating work by local artists, and the name nods to the pinhole camera, which shows in the camera shaped logo.

The cafe grew from almost twenty years in coffee and sources from roaster friends rather than roasting itself. The house drip is a custom blend made with Linea Caffe, espresso comes from Grand Coffee, and a pour over program rotates single origins from guest roasters around the country. Pastries come from small Bay Area bakeries. It opens at seven on weekdays and at seven thirty on weekends, closing at three thirty Monday to Thursday and at five Friday to Sunday.
