MY Coffee Roastery

MY Coffee Roastery opened its first storefront in downtown Berkeley in July 2019 around a less is more idea, that quality should win over quantity. The team roasts in house on Diedrich roasters, in small batches, and hand sorts the beans before and after roasting to remove the few percent of impurities that even good green coffee carries. Roasted beans are then rested for several days before they are used, to bring out mellowness and richness.

The menu covers single origin espresso, cappuccino, flat white, pour over and cold brew, plus an orange blossom latte, a hojicha latte and an affogato, with croissants and cookies alongside. Milk is Clover Sonoma organic whole milk. The shop is closed on Monday and Tuesday, opens at eight Wednesday to Friday and at eight thirty on weekends, and closes at four.
