Le Mil's Coffee

Le Mil's opened its cafe on Polk Street in August 2026, after two years of farmers markets and pop ups, and calls it the Bangalore drip in San Francisco. The tall room is lit by woven pendant lamps under a ceiling of hanging vines, with a live edge wood bar inlaid with a ribbon of colored resin running down its length.
The coffee comes from the family's Navilumane Estate in Chikmagalur, Karnataka, and is roasted in small batches in Berkeley. The menu starts with SoFi, a South Indian filter coffee with a chicory blend served with a Parle G biscuit, and runs to espresso drinks, pour overs and signature drinks such as Blossom Tonic and Pink Panther, with pastries from rose pistachio to gulab jamun cake. It opens at seven on weekdays and at eight on weekends, and closes at three and four.
