Kopê House

Kopê House is a small cafe on Laguna Street in Hayes Valley, started by three friends who had worked in San Francisco cafes for years and first met on a barista team. They describe the shop as an homage to their cultural roots, the city they were born and raised in, and exceptional coffee, and it serves its own in house roast through a classic espresso menu.
Alongside the espresso drinks there is a run of creative signature drinks, and single origin offerings rotate with the seasons, sourced from favorite roasters around the world. The house blend is a medium to dark omni roast of washed Honduras and natural Ethiopia, designed to work as espresso or filter coffee, with tasting notes of malted chocolate, black cherry and orange zest. The cafe opens at eight and closes at two Monday to Wednesday and at four Thursday to Sunday.
