Andytown Coffee Roasters

Michael McCrory and Lauren Crabbe founded Andytown in 2014, opening this Outer Sunset room as their first, and it remains the flagship even as the business has grown to nine locations across the city and down into Menlo Park. The house signature is the Snowy Plover, espresso topped with sparkling water, brown sugar and house whipped cream, a drink distinctive enough that some listings simply call it The Original Bird.

The couple roasts its own beans, and the Lawton Street original keeps a neighborhood, foggy Sunset character that the newer downtown and Jackson Square locations trade for a faster, more transit adjacent pace.
