Parabola Coffee Roasting Co. began with curiosity and passion, inspired by the local North Park roasters. Its founders started roasting at home and selling the beans online, with free local delivery by eco friendly motor scooter, then launched a coffee cart in March 2020 at Second Chance Beer Lounge, and a coffee shop on Adams Avenue now serves the neighborhood.

The roastery specializes in Latin American coffee, with blends such as Odie's Breakfast Blend, Abuelitas Dark and Statera Espresso, single origins from Mexico, Honduras and Guatemala, and a decaf. The shop also sells clothing, gear and gifts by local artists, offers delivery through DoorDash and opens at seven in the morning every day of the week.
