Jaunt Coffee Roasters

Jaunt Coffee Roasters was founded in 2018 by Jimmy Silva, who began in coffee with an office park coffee stand he started with his wife Laci in 2014. Trips to specialty shops in Europe and to farms in Peru, Mexico and Colombia taught him about processing and production, and led him to source and roast his own coffee in a Miramar industrial park.

The cafe beside the roastery pours specialty coffee drinks and also serves savory empanadas, breakfast burritos, acai bowls and baked goods. Roasts are vacuum sealed and shipped across the country, and bags range from light roast single origins to medium roasts and blends. Hours run from early morning on weekdays, with a long Saturday that closes at six.
