Goldchild Coffee Roasters occupies the ground floor of the Westgate Hotel on Broadway, where it roasts light, Nordic inspired coffees in house and pairs them with a Swedish fika pastry program. Jeff Rambo, who taught himself to roast at home and won the 2025 U.S. AeroPress Championship, founded it with Ela Mosquera, and the room doubles as the Listening Lab, where competition coffees are dialed in.

Records set the tone, from hip hop and R&B to soul and Motown. The menu offers batch brew, Japanese style cold brew from drip towers, pour overs and espresso at market price, plus signature drinks such as Morning in Stockholm, a rose and cardamom latte. Buns and pastries are made in house, and bags of single origin coffee are sold in tiers from Everyday to Exceedingly Rare.
