Coffee & Tea Collective

Coffee and Tea Collective was established in San Diego in 2010 with a desire to draw people together. Founders Daniel Holcomb and Michael Spear began by roasting for art and cultural events and opened the El Cajon Boulevard shop in 2012, and the North Park cafe is designed as a blank canvas for the community, with coffee and tea made with intention.

The roastery describes its aim as coffees that shine, balanced, sweet and dependable. Bags range from single origins such as an Ethiopian Guji, a Tanzanian peaberry and Burundi lots to blends called Ampersand and Tandem, and an Artist Series pairs releases with the work of individual artists. Tea sits beside coffee on the shelf, with a San Diego herbal blend and jasmine pearls, and the cafe pours daily from seven until four.
