Bump Coffee

The corrugated turquoise front of Bump Coffee in Cardiff with its Coffee, Empanadas, Juice sign and a crowd of customers waiting at the open window

Bump Coffee started after a trip to Nicaragua in 2014, where the coffee and food were simple and the people serving it seemed genuinely happy you were there. It now runs cafes in Cardiff and Leucadia and aims to be a neighborhood shop that offers high quality coffee and real hospitality every time.

Every cup is hand poured and made to order, using shade grown organic coffee mostly from Nayarit in Mexico that is roasted weekly in North County. Argentine style empanadas are folded by hand and baked each day, and the menu adds a coffee mojito and fresh orange juice. Dogs, boards and sandy feet are welcome, and the doors are open from six to two every day.
