Tram Depot Testaccio

Tram Depot is a vintage green tram car turned coffee kiosk, set among the trees beside Via Marmorata on the Testaccio side of the Pyramid, and open since 2013. The coffee is taken seriously for a place with so much charm: organic arabicas from small artisan roasteries, a coffee of the month that changes often, and a filter list covering V60, French press, Aeropress and syphon, plus a cold brew steeped for twenty hours.

Breakfast starts around 9:00 and the whole place is outdoors, so it suits a slow morning in good weather. As evening comes the tram shifts to aperitivo and cocktails, an easygoing spot to meet friends in one of Rome's best loved food neighborhoods.
