Slow Specialty Coffee and Pastry Lab

A pale stone room on Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, a short walk from Largo di Torre Argentina in the old centre of Rome. Slow opened in January 2026 as a specialty coffee and pastry lab, with Aliena Coffee Roasters behind the core coffees and single origins poured as espresso and filter. Its manifesto is a reply to rushed breakfasts: buy less, consume better, enjoy slowly.
The room is calm and light, with travertine walls, a glass pastry case set into the street window and a few round tables, and everything on the counter is made in house each day. There are no bookings, only walk ins, and it stays open from 8:00 to 20:00 every day, which makes it easy to fit around a day of sightseeing. The lunch menu changes with the season.
