Run by Nuns

Run by Nuns opened on Via Ezio in June 2026, a specialty cafe and wine bar built around small daily rituals rather than one single service. Coffee comes from Pier, a second generation roastery in Gravina, Puglia, brewed in porcelain from Hasami, Japan, and served across Danish chairs and hand glazed Portuguese tiles, materials the shop credits by name rather than treating as backdrop.
The day moves in three stages: bread and coffee in the morning, something cold and cured through the afternoon, then wine and aperitivo as the room shifts into what the shop calls its evening hour. Weekdays run a fuller menu, weekends narrow down to a bagel shop format, all within the same eight in the morning to ten at night schedule. Bread comes from a nearby boulangerie with Parisian training, delivered warm each morning.
