Origine San Paolo

Origine is a café, wine bar and kitchen near the Basilica of San Paolo Fuori le Mura, opened in late 2022 by Valerio Lintozzi, who grew up in a family of Roman bakers. The name points to the single origin coffees at its core: around twenty rotating selections from Italian and international roasters, brewed as espresso, V60, French press or Aeropress, with a coffee tonic for warm days.
Dark wood, green seating and a wall for rotating art shows give the room a relaxed, all day feel. The menu follows the clock from a savory breakfast with pastries from the family bakery through lunch to natural wine in the evening, a welcome specialty stop in the south of the city.
