Fax Factory

Part cafe, part gallery, Fax Factory in Pigneto doubles as an exhibition and events space — paintings, photography, live readings and music have all featured alongside the coffee service since it opened in 2018. Beans are sourced from a rotating mix of Italian and international roasteries and sold at the counter rather than roasted in-house.

Pigneto itself is one of Rome's more countercultural, art-and-nightlife-driven neighborhoods, well outside the historic center, and Fax Factory's gallery-cafe hybrid identity fits that register closely. Hours run a fairly standard daytime schedule Monday through Saturday, with a short Sunday morning window.
