Fax Factory

Part cafe, part gallery, Fax Factory in Pigneto doubles as an exhibition and events space: paintings, photography, live readings and music have all featured alongside the coffee service since it opened in 2018. Beans are sourced from a rotating mix of Italian and international roasteries and sold at the counter rather than roasted in house.

Pigneto itself is one of Rome's more countercultural, art and nightlife driven neighborhoods, well outside the historic center, and Fax Factory's gallery cafe hybrid identity fits that register closely. Hours run a fairly standard daytime schedule Monday through Saturday, with a short Sunday morning window.
