Faro - Caffe Specialty

A bright, Nordic minimalist 'canteen'-style room near Piazza Fiume, Faro roasts its own coffee under a dedicated in house brand, Aliena Coffee Roasters, launched in a Montesacro facility in 2022, a relatively young operation but one serious enough to have built its own roastery rather than just sourcing from elsewhere. Bagged beans are sold on site and through a linked online shop, and the room's light, clean look sets it apart from Rome's older, darker espresso bar tradition.

Rione Sallustiano sits a short walk from Via Veneto, in a part of Rome better known for embassies and older hotels than specialty coffee.
