Barnum Cafe

An arched, white-plastered doorway framing the espresso bar at Barnum Cafe, retail coffee bags on the shelf behind

A pared back, white plastered room near Campo de' Fiori (arched niches, natural wood cabinetry, exposed ceiling beams), Barnum runs a coffee and breakfast service open daily through the afternoon. It sits in Parione, one of the dense, atmospheric grids of streets that make up Rome's historic center, a short walk from one of the city's most photographed piazzas.

This reads as more of a well regarded neighborhood coffee spot than a roaster in the specialty coffee sense.
