Felipe Bruzzi opened Beco inside Shopping Citta America in Barra da Tijuca in July 2017, the retail face of his own roastery, Pandora Roasters, which sources rare microlots directly from small Brazilian producers and roasts them in small weekly batches. Bruno Campos joined as co owner in 2026, expanding the ownership beyond Bruzzi's original setup.

Five small outdoor tables give the counter a bit of a breather from the shopping center around it, and oat milk is available at no extra charge, alongside decaf for anyone who wants the ritual without the caffeine.
