MiiT Coffee

MiiT started life in 2014 as a bicycle repair workshop that began serving coffee on the side and grew into one of Riga's longest running specialty cafes, still visibly drawing cyclists, students, and the design district remote work crowd near St Alexander Nevsky Orthodox Church. Nearly the entire food menu is vegetarian or vegan, an English breakfast with a tofu scramble option, quinoa and zucchini noodle bowls, artichoke pizza, vegan carrot cake.

The house espresso is roasted in house, and single origins get hand brewed via AeroPress, V60, Kalita, and Chemex using beans from Latvia's own Tiny Giant roastery and Berlin's Five Elephant. The warm, art filled room seats around fifty, giving it more room to spread out than most of the city's smaller specialty bars.
