Coffee Society

Karlīna Jance, a business and entrepreneurship student, and Daniela Solovjova Vlasova, a barista with seven years in the industry, opened Coffee Society in November 2024 as the first cafe to come out of Rīga Stradiņš University's B Space business incubator, funded after the pair won first place in its 2023 program. Beans come from Rocket Bean, and the menu leans into original seasonal recipes, a raspberry mocha, a cacao chai, a cotton candy latte, alongside vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free snacks and cakes.

Solovjova Vlasova has framed the whole concept around treating each of a regular's roughly 730 cups a year as its own small flavor experience rather than settling for something forgettable. The Tērbatas iela room is small and young, still building the track record that Riga's longer running specialty shops already have.
