Kaffi Ó-le

A barista pouring latte art into a pale blue cup at Kaffi Ó-le

Ólafur Ólafsson opened Kaffi Ó-le in the summer of 2021, a small minimalist room with community style seating that runs on a Dalla Corte espresso machine and coffee from the Reykjavik micro roastery Kaffibrugghúsið. Ólafsson also runs the adjacent fish and wine bar Brút next door, a pairing that says something about how food and coffee scenes overlap in a city this size.

Fresh pastries run alongside the espresso menu, and the room stays open the same hours daily rather than cutting weekend service short.
