77 Coffee fills a converted ground floor apartment at 13A Zhejiang Road, a short walk from Zhejiang Road Catholic Cathedral in Qingdao's old town. A husband and wife run the shop together, and the wife's own clothing and accessory designs sit on display throughout the small dark green shopfront alongside a yellow bench out front, a look that has drawn some customers back for seven years running.

A wall of coffee cups behind the counter reflects the owners' own collection built up over years of running the place, and the shop keeps a small corner set aside where visitors can pull their own shots.
