Acid Coffee

The industrial dining room at Acid Coffee, exposed ductwork and plants around a diamond patterned counter

Founded in 2020 by Vojtěch Pešice and Daniel Krs, Acid sits in the courtyard of a contemporary art center in Holešovice, a selective coffee house that also pours its own draft beer and a proper tea list. The name plays on the site's own tagline, roughly 'we are your pH, come taste,' printed right on the homepage.

By day it's a relaxed courtyard spot known for a croissant and muffin hybrid called the krafin. By evening, surrounded by the center's gallery spaces, it turns into something else entirely, ambient DJs and gallery openings that have made it a fixture on Prague's small electronic music circuit. Dogs are welcome throughout.
