Senzu Coffee Roasters

Senzu Coffee Roasters launched in 2019 on Rua do Rosário in the Cedofeita part of central Porto, built by a team that had already spent more than ten years in Portuguese specialty coffee before the brand existed. The bar sits in the CRU creative hub, a space shared with designers and makers, and the welcome is simple: stop by and have a coffee with the people who roast it.

Beans are roasted by hand in small batches, tuned to each origin rather than one house style, and the range runs from an everyday Espresso Selection to seasonal lots and rare experimental coffees, all traceable to the producers who grow them and bought at a fair price. Senzu coffee now ends up in more than forty coffee shops and a few Michelin starred restaurants, and bags and monthly subscriptions go home through the online shop.
