7g Roaster

7g Roaster sits on Rua de França in Vila Nova de Gaia, a short hop across the Douro from Porto, and was named the 30th best coffee shop in the world on the World's 100 Best Coffee Shops list. It is a roastery, a brunch spot and a home for seven guest apartments all at once, a spacious coffee place with indoor seating, a wide terrace and the roasting happening in the same building.

Coffee is roasted on site from carefully chosen origins, with single origin lots from Kenya, Ethiopia, Indonesia and Colombia on the current list, and the baristas run a guided 45 minute tasting that compares filter, cappuccino, espresso and decaf. Brunch runs all day with vegetarian and vegan options, the terrace is open to four legged friends, and bags of beans and brewing gear can be taken home through the online shop.
