Prince Coffee Beaumont

Deep blue built in shelving at Prince Coffee holding bagged coffee, Kalita filters and mugs, beside a large leafy plant and an oak fronted counter with the brewers behind

Prince Coffee began in the Beaumont neighborhood in 2016, a Dutch inspired corner shop on Northeast Fremont Street with a Scandinavian minimalist look that has been known since opening day for its stroopwafels. The coffee program features favorite local roasters alongside a rotating global guest, with roasters from around Europe in the lineup this year, and Prince sells a bag of coffee made together with Heart Coffee.

Teas include premium loose leaf blends, matcha, chai and golden milk from Portland makers, and baked goods come from Nuvrei, Tabor Bread and Red Hen Bagelry. The kitchen also makes cashew pesto and walnut romesco in house for its savory snacks, and shelves of beautifully chosen objects sit among the cups. The Beaumont cafe opens at seven every morning and is the original home of a small Portland group.
