Good Coffee

Good Coffee was started in 2014 by brothers Nick and Sam Purvis with a single Southeast Portland cafe and has grown into six locations around the metro area, including a Portland International Airport counter and a shop in the Northwest Slabtown district. The Buckman location keeps to that same straightforward format, natural light, plants, and a rotating pour over and espresso list built from single origin coffee.
A share of every sale goes to local nonprofits through the company's Common Good program, and Tasting Table named the shop among Portland's fifteen best coffee spots in 2023. The Buckman cafe runs on free wifi with outlets along one wall, making it a steady stop for laptop work, alongside a pastry case and the same rotating single origin lineup found at Good's other Portland locations.
