Cathedral Coffee

Cathedral Coffee began in 2013 in the Cathedral Park neighborhood near St. Johns, first as a multiroaster coffee bar and, since early 2022, as a roaster in its own right. The cafe on North Willamette Boulevard keeps its original character, with graffiti art walls, long live edge wooden tables, a two seat reading nook and ceiling high shelves of old National Geographic issues.
The shop pairs its own roasts and seasonal drinks with house made pastries, loose leaf tea from Herald Tea Co, rotating local artwork, used books and coffee brewing supplies, and the company describes each cafe as a unique expression of its neighborhood. Roasting now happens at a roastery in St. Helens that has outgrown its first small machine. The cafe is open every day from seven in the morning until five in the afternoon.
