Capitola Coffee

Capitola Coffee is a small specialty roaster with a cafe on North Mississippi Avenue, a spacious and bright room with a secluded patio tucked away outside. The bar uses its Begonia Blend several times a week for both espresso and drip, a sweet, fruity Ethiopian coffee joined with a nutty, chocolatey Central or South American coffee that tastes of sweet cocoa and jasmine.

A second house coffee, Sea Bright Blend, pairs two coffees for a full body and steady flavor, and a rotating roster of carefully sourced coffees fills out the shelf and the bi weekly and monthly subscriptions that ship from the roastery. The cafe opens at seven in the morning and closes at five in the afternoon every day, and its tables are usually full of people settling in to work quietly over a long latte.
