Abba Coffee Roasters began in 2019 roasting beans for a small community and for fundraisers, and it opened its first cafe on Northwest 11th Avenue in the Pearl District in early 2023. The room is small and minimalist, with a few tables and bench seating, and the drinks take their cue from Korean specialty coffee culture, with seasonal specials that bring in Asian ingredients.

The roasting runs from light to medium dark and the shelf changes often. Recent single origins include a natural Yunnan lot from Pu'er in China with notes of guava and pineapple, Peru Santa Estela from a family estate in Villa Rica, and Kenya Murarandia from Muranga, alongside the house Pearl Blend. The cafe is open on weekdays from seven thirty to three thirty and on Saturday from eight to four, and it is closed on Sunday.
